Timeless, natural newborn portraits that preserve the little details, connections, and love of your growing family.

There is something incredibly special about those first days with a new baby.

The tiny fingers. The sleepy smiles. The little stretches. The way your baby's hand fits perfectly in yours. The way a big brother or sister gently reaches out to touch their new sibling.

These moments go by so quickly.

At JCBolton Photography, my goal for your newborn session is to capture those beautiful details and genuine connections so you can remember exactly what this season of life felt like.

Whether we're photographing your baby peacefully asleep, snuggled in your arms, or being loved on by their big brother, sister, or dad, I want your images to feel warm, natural, beautiful, and timeless.

Newborn Photography That Tells Your Family's Story

A newborn session isn't just about photographing a baby.

It's about photographing your family as it is right now.

Your family has changed forever, and these first days together deserve to be documented.

I love incorporating parents and siblings into newborn sessions because some of the most meaningful photographs aren't always the perfectly posed ones.

They're the photographs that show connection.

A mother looking down at her baby.

A dad holding his daughter close.

A big brother carefully touching his new sister's tiny hand.

Those are the images you'll treasure years from now.

The Little Details You'll Want to Remember

Babies change unbelievably quickly.

Those tiny fingers won't stay tiny.

The newborn curls will change.

The sleepy expressions will become smiles and giggles.

And before you know it, you'll be wondering how your baby ever fit so perfectly into your arms.

That's why I make time for the little details during your newborn photography session.

Tiny Fingers & Toes

Those little fingers wrapped around yours are some of the sweetest details of the newborn stage.

Sleepy Expressions

There's something magical about a peacefully sleeping newborn. These quiet moments make beautiful timeless portraits.

Baby's Little Features

The eyelashes, lips, button nose, soft cheeks, and wisps of hair are all part of your baby's story.

The Way You Hold Them

One day you'll miss the way your baby fit against your chest.

Photographs preserve that feeling.

Including Siblings in Your Newborn Session

One of my favorite parts of newborn photography is photographing siblings together.

For older brothers and sisters, having a new baby in the family is a huge moment.

I love capturing those first interactions naturally—whether that's a sweet kiss, a curious little hand, or simply the way an older sibling looks at their new baby.

These photographs become even more meaningful as the children grow.

That little boy who once carefully held his baby sister may someday be the protective big brother she looks up to.

Photographs give you a way to remember the beginning of that relationship.

Newborn Photos With Mom & Dad

Parents deserve to be in the photographs, too.

I know it can be tempting to want a newborn session focused entirely on your baby. But years from now, your children will want to see you with them.

They'll want to see the way you held them.

The way you looked at them.

The way they fit into your arms.

So I encourage parents to step into the photographs—even if you don't feel perfectly prepared or "photo ready."

Your baby doesn't see the little things you're worried about.

They see Mom and Dad.

And that's exactly what I want to preserve.

A Natural & Timeless Approach to Newborn Photography

My style is centered around beautiful, natural images with a soft and timeless feel.

I love photographs that don't feel overly complicated or trendy.

Instead, I want the focus to remain on your baby and your family.

Soft textures, beautiful light, genuine expressions, and simple moments allow the emotion of the photograph to shine through.

The goal is for you to look at these photographs 10, 20, or even 30 years from now and still love them.

When Should You Schedule Your Newborn Session?

I recommend reaching out during your pregnancy to reserve your newborn session.

Newborn sessions are typically photographed during the first few weeks after your baby's arrival, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curled up.

But don't worry if your baby is older than that.

Beautiful newborn photographs can be created at many different stages, and every baby is different.

The most important thing is that we document this special season of your family's life.

What to Expect During Your Newborn Photography Session

.Your newborn session should feel relaxed—not rushed.

Babies don't follow a schedule, and that's okay!

There will be time for feeding, cuddling, soothing, diaper changes, and all the little things that come with photographing a newborn.

We'll take our time and let your baby set the pace.

My goal is for you to enjoy this experience and simply soak in those first days with your new little one.

Ready to Preserve Those First Days?

If you're expecting a little one, I would love to help you document this incredibly special season.

From sweet newborn details to family portraits, sibling moments, and those beautiful photographs with Mom and Dad, your session will be designed to capture the connections that make your family yours.

Let's preserve the little moments before they become memories.
